Good to know. Key questions.
Answers to the questions that come up most often in the first call. Everything else we can clarify on the phone.
I have already taken TMD courses. What is different here?
Many courses teach individual building blocks: TMD here, splint therapy there, the jaw joint or masticatory muscles as a separate topic. This training brings the building blocks together into one overall picture. You learn how the jaw joint, masticatory muscles, tongue, breathing, posture, sleep and stress interact functionally and how to derive a structured approach for the individual patient.
Does it stay theoretical, or can I apply it in practice?
The training is designed for practice transfer. In six 1:1 sessions you discuss your own patient cases, and on the practice day you work on real cases. You also receive patient questionnaires, patient information sheets and access to the online patient platform, which you can use directly in your practice.
When can I start the training?
Any time. You decide when to begin and work through the online modules at your own pace. You choose the practice day near Zurich from five fixed dates.
How much time do I need to plan for?
The 11 online modules contain more than 35 videos with around 6 hours of material that you work through at your own pace. In addition, there are six 30-minute Zoom sessions and one practice day near Zurich. The training lasts six months in total.
Is the investment worthwhile for my practice?
The typical case value is on average between CHF 1,000 and 2,000 for adults and between CHF 1,800 and 2,300 for children. Three to four patients cover the cost of the training. On top of that come delegable services for your team and a clearly differentiated offer. Payment is made as a one-time payment.
Which professional groups is the training suitable for?
For physicians and dentists as well as dental hygienists, speech therapists and physiotherapists. Physicians and dentists also receive the botulinum toxin course. We will clarify in a no-obligation call whether the training suits your situation.
Do I receive a certificate?
Yes. On completion you receive your certification as a certified Dentosophist.
